This project involved creating a media wall to house a TV and soundbar.

The lower cabinets are made from an Egger MFC board (melamine faced chipboard), with MDF doors spray finished in white and fitted on soft close hinges. The lower units are finished with a solid walnut countertop, which was made from lots of small walnut staves. The countertop was oiled with 2 coats of Osmo Top Oil.

Behind the TV we have some walnut veneered slatted panels with felt backing, which were given a coat of the same Osmo oil. One of the slatted panels is removeable to allow easy access to the wall should any future electrical work be required to be undertaken, as there are plug sockets behind the TV to minimise the amount of visible cables.
