This project was a slightly different one for me; creating a built in bed with storage drawers as well as some shelving and cupboard space.

As the bed was for a child’s bedroom, I was also able to incorporate some hidden storage spaces and a fun lift up section where the child is able to hide.

The bed was spray finished in Sayerlack AT99 specialist paint (now my standard finish) in a Farrow and Ball St Giles Blue colour.

The drawers are all the full depth of the bed (nearly 1m) so there is a ton of storage space available, and the heavy duty 100kg rated runners make light work of opening and closing the heavy drawers.

All in all I am so pleased with how this one turned out and can’t wait for the next project like this!
