[2024] Dual Room Wardrobes / Storage

This project involved the transformation of two rooms: a bedroom and a 2nd floor attic room.

The bedroom features a huge 6-door wardrobe with externally accessed drawers in a ‘linen press’ style. The doors are all in a traditional panel style, painted in Lick White 01. Inside, we have a mix of storage including rails, fixed shelves, adjustable shelves, smaller drawers, larger drawers and even a removeable shelf to allow access to a switch via an access panel.

The interior of this unit is an oak effect MFC board from Egger. The drawer boxes are all painted to match the external finish, but are made of premium birch plywood.

In the second set of photos you can see the attic room featuring a sloping wardrobe / cupboard with adjustable shelving, an open bookcase under the window and then some floating display shelving. This room is painted in Lick White 07.

In both rooms the units back onto an external wall, and the customer was keen to keep a small air gap to allow airflow behind the units to keep the walls nice and dry and aired, hence the shadow gaps around the units. Both rooms are also awaiting the carpet to be refitted and we can’t wait to see the finished rooms!
