[2024] ‘Tiny House’ Storage
This project involved creating multiple storage solutions in a room in a ‘Tiny House’. Due to the nature of the home, with space being at a premium, the customer was keen to make the most of the available space with a selection of storage options!
The customer had a good idea of what they were looking for, but through an iterative design process we settled on the following:
A seating bench, with mixed storage both behind traditional hinged doors and under a hinged fold up lid.
A 4-door wardrobe, with mixed hanging, shelf and drawer space.
A 2 door cupboard, doubling up as a window sill with a beautiful dark oak countertop.
A bespoke desk, with a fold up section to hide away a monitor, and 6 under-desk shelves.
3 shelves for books, plants and other nick-nacks.
The customer chose the Lick Green 03 colour and lovely gold flower knobs which work together beautifully. The customer also liked doors with a raised moulding, so each of the 10 doors is in this style, and as always the painted parts were sprayed in the usual Sayerlack AT99 specialist spray paint.
